A look into the lifestyles of a bass playing jewelry designer and a vintage men’s clothing store owner in Brooklyn NY.
I got to meet Allison and Brian on one of those beautiful summer days that you don’t always get lucky enough to have in New York City. We focused on the places that are nearest and dearest to the place they call home, Greenpoint. We shot, editorial style, their cool home, with meaningful collectibles from both their vintage Etsy and jewelry shops and then we shot among the streets that you may happen upon some movie sets from Boardwalk Empire. I loved that we stayed focused on the story of the two of them and where they are today because Allison is probably more camera shy than I am (shocking I know…) and as a result, the images show how they are with one another and well, I think it’s rather beautiful.
I feel like I got to know them both as people and as friends that day.
A few days later, I headed back up to New York to shoot their wedding. To say I loved every second of it, would be an understatement.
