Erin & Conner's Telluride Wedding

Snow and really fun people made this winter wedding in Telluride, Colorado pretty darn special

Last month I was invited along for a wedding with the amazingly talented Adam Houseman.  He and I have shot quite a few weddings together now, but always in or around Philadelphia.  The conversation that preceded this particular event went something like this. “So, Shari, interested in coming out and shooting a wedding with me in Telluride?” I think he said some other stuff, but I’d already said “yes” so…

All I heard was, Winter.  Wedding.  Mountains.

I’d hoped for snow.

I got what I hoped for.

And more. So much more.

Adam and I set off from his home in Denver for a pretty amusing 7 hour car ride out to Telluride.  There may or may not have been an $80 Beef Jerky stop in there.

Two days later, after some good food and merriment, we were shooting a winter wedding…in a glorious snow storm. In the mountains.  But you couldn’t see the mountains. At all. It was a complete white out. And I was ready to move there to live forever.

For. Ever. Happily.

So… Dear Universe, or People of Telluride Colorado….. Please have me back. You know… whenever. This Philadelphia Girl left a part of herself up on the slopes and in the town of Telluride Colorado.

A very special thanks to the classically beautiful and stylish Erin and Conner, their lovely families and and especially Adam and his family for having me along for an epic wedding in an epic place.
