Sarah & Ed’s San Francisco Engagement at Golden Gate Park, Palace of Fine Arts and Marin Headlands
I always welcome the opportunity to shoot a wedding or lifestyle session in San Francisco and thanks to Sarah and Ed, I got to venture off with them up to Marin Headlands this time. I’d also never been to the Palace of Fine Arts before (which actually has no fine arts but has some architecture we took advantage of).
The weather looked iffy and our session was sandwiched between some unusual weather systems for The Bay Area. But we were ready, no matter what. We got lucky though, and the rain held off and even granted us some pretty spectacular spots of sunshine with misty mountain backgrounds.
Spending the afternoon with them, exploring some new places and learning about the history of the tunnels we discovered, was like spending the day with two friends, out for a hike. They just happen to be madly in love with each other and I just adored the way they were with one another. Tender love and respect, with a mix of laughter and good humor. That’s how I’d describe them.
This is a little about them and our day together.
To say I adore these two and cannot wait to spend their wedding day with them would be an understatement. Their wedding will be at Princeton University in a few months. If their families are anything like them (or their friends) it’s going to be a very special day.
