Sarah & Ed’s Beautiful Princeton University Wedding and Backyard Reception
Sarah and Ed are no strangers to the place they came to exchange their wedding vows. In fact they met at Princeton University. And Sarah’s parents were married there. And Sarah’s father is Dean there too. Indeed Princeton University was the perfect place for their wedding.
Throughout the entire day there were small (and not-so-small) reminders and homages to those that came before them. The postcards, for example. Anyone who walks into the home that Sarah grew up in would quickly guess that the world and everything wonderful in it, needs to be photographed and hung on the wall somewhere. I could have spent a week documenting the home of the most well-documented family I know. And I would have loved every minute of it. Maybe I’ll ask to do that one day.
For now though, I want to share with you the story of Sarah and Ed. This happened…
(psst. did you know that you can click on images to view larger or share?)
Then this happened. (pssst. Did you know you can click on any image and see it larger? It’s true! You can even share this with your favorite images, if you like)
Instead of having a guest book, Sarah and Ed asked their guests to send their love via postcards, which were brought by each guest and placed into a box. I LOVED this idea!
Sarah and Ed, Thank you for inviting me along on this leg of your journey together. To say I feel blessed would be an understatement. Getting to know the two of you and your wonderful families has been my absolute pleasure.
