A Sweet look at this Wedding at the historic Colonial Dames in Philadelphia PA

I first met Maggie’s mother by scaring her to death. What can I say? I believe in memorable first impressions and this was, well, one of those times I embarrassed myself epically. We all had some good laughs about it later and I was not shot or arrested for breaking and entering. So I considered that a definite plus. Thinking back on the whole day, her whole family was warm, loving and gracious. To me and to her soon-to-be-son-in-law. I really just adore Maggie, Ryan and their family and friends. It was a pretty special day.

Maggie and Ryan both live and work in the Philadelphia. They chose Colonial Dames to be married with their closest friends and family there to celebrate with them. Although the sun was out earlier in the day, the light rain started just as they exchanged vows in the lovely court yard behind the historic building. It was a perfect setting for the two of them and I cannot say enough good things about the service and staff there.

There are so many wonderful photographs here. I really like the getting ready photos of the bride and the photos of her dancing with her dad..

This is so beautifully documented. I love the ring shot and that “face in the mirror” shot is so creative.

Awesome set of images. The portraits especially rock!

Beautiful work Shari. Love that ring shot and the first look!

Oh, I just adore the dress. And the mother of the bride’s dress. Lovely images, Shari.

I love the details of this wedding, especially the amazing dinosaur shot!

Shari this is one lovely set of images. I absolutely adore the bride and groom portraits. Stunning!

Beautiful work Shari! The portraits are amazing, I can’t even pick my favourites. The entire first look/couple photos are absolutely perfect. I’d be thrilled!

I love the elegance of this, I thought it was in England at first. Beautiful style and beautifully photographed, Shari!

Gorrrrgeous! Especially the shot of Maggie by the staircase — the light is oh so beautiful. Her dress is amazing as well. I love your work, Shari!!!

Beautiful documentary work, Shari. Love your storytelling.

The one with her face reflected in the window is a work of art. Also the one next to it with the groom in the foreground and bride defocussed in the background, many photographers make a mistake of having the defocussed person looking at the camera, this is perfect.

      Maggie and Ryan,

I feel honored to have been included in your wedding day. Many blessings to you two! XOXO
